Around the horn Zona…
So I have been meaning to go ahead and start a really pimpalicious newsletter. There are only two things holding me back. Time and money. You see, sometimes work gets in the way of these things. In any case, I introduce to you Around the horn Zona - News/blogs/funnies dealing with all things Arizona.
Lets start off with Barbosa….Speeeeeed Demon. You wanted it, you got it. Suns take it to the Lakers and lead the series 3-1. In case you cared - I’ll be there on Wed night. Upper deck…$48 dollars a ticket later. Should be fun.
Oh yeah…that thing that went on….and on…….and on…..(ala the NFL Draft - 2007 version)…well we had some selections from our wonderful schools here in the Zona:
Sparky:
- The Oakland Raiders select Zach Miller, TE, Arizona State University (38th overall)
- Andrew Carnahan, OT, ASU - goes to the Jags in the (252nd overall)
Wilbur:
- The Tennessee Titans re-visit last years draft, axing LenDale White and drafting our very own Chris Henry, RB, Arizona (50th overall)
- Nick Folk - We all love him, goes to face TO one on one, in Dallas - (178th overall)
- Michael Johnson, S, Arizona - Giants give him some love. (224th overall)
- My favorite selection of the day, Syndric Steptoe, certainly got more love than Brady Quinn at (234th overall) to Cleveland
And then we can move to the Cards draft/FA signings….am i reading this right? On top of that you go with Levi Brown, and company. All I am thinking here, is what the heck is going on? I’ll leave it to someone who knows much more than I do.
Last, but certainly not least…did you notice - the Dbacks are en Fuegooooo….
